This is a dazzling color poster of the Earth as seen from space, based on Landsat, NOAA and AVHRR photographic data recorded by satellites, scanning Earth's surface in four-square-kilometer sections. Scenes from different times of the year were chosen to ensure the best lighting and maximum vegetation. Drainage and relief are enhanced in the almost cloud-free composite image. The most striking features of this map are the deep blue oceans and green forests; also the vast, yellow-white vegetation-barren desert areas of Saharasia, which stand out like a large wound on the surface of organism Earth. The map is center on the Pacific Ocean, with North and South America on the right, and Africa, Asia and Europe on the left. Printed on thick, high-quality, laminated glossy paper.
